It's not as effective as going for a run, but housework and gardening do burn up energy and can improve your strength (shovel that compost!), flexibility (clean the top of the bookshelf!) and cardiovascular fitness (vacuum that hallway!)

I've been a Personal Trainer for 6 years and previously was a professional soccer player for 12 years. I represented my country in soccer at every level up to under 21's where I gained 14 caps.
