How to choose a trainer

"Fitness" boxing is almost an oxymoron. For every personal trainer you see holding pads in a commercial gym, you see another interesting yet depressing permutation of how not to teach someone to throw a punch or a kick. One of the arguments I most often find myself embroiled in goes along the lines of, "I'm not training people to be professionals; I'm just training them to get fit." Well, as everybody knows, anything worth doing is worth doing correctly. And in the context of exercise, doing something correctly is essential to getting the maximum benefit out of it.
