If your children are overweight, what do you do about it? Well of course you restrict their diet and you encourage them to exercise.

Mind you, that's easier said than done. It's tough getting kids to eat a balanced diet when so many of them hate the taste of healthy food and there is so much junk food readily available. And establishing an exercise regime is hard enough for an adult without the added distractions that kids get – TV, internet, Wii games, etc. It's enough to drive parents to distraction.
