My name is Caleb and I am one of your personal trainers here at genesis Dandenong.

The reason why i decided to become a personal trainer is because fitness is my passion and i love to motivate others to get involved. I have been at genesis for the past 2.5 years with many more to come.

My whole life I have been involved in fitness, playing AFL football from a young age, soccer and cricket. I have been training in the gym for the past 3 years on improving my muscle mass!

My aim as a trainer is to push and motivate you to achieve your goals while keeping it enjoyable and challenging!

This quote from the creator and namesake the Pilates method, Joseph Pilates, sounds a bit too good to be true. Despite this, Pilates instructors around the globe bandy this across their websites and flyers to inspire and reassure new participants. Why? Well, simply because they believe it.

Helping people to create an entirely new body through the Pilates method is something I have done now for nigh on ten years– so you could say that this quote is also my dogma. Yet, after being hypnotized into brain-fade by a recent infomercial selling what can only be described as ‘pilates-esque’ equipment, guaranteed to make you lean and trim in just a few weeks, I began to question what set my work apart from ‘five easy payments of $49.95’.



  • My GP kept telling me that "Exercise"and only "Exercise'' would help me gain control of my health and weight, and so it was that I decided to join a gym. Genesis, the gym being the closest, I went over to enroll my self as a member and couldn't have made a better choice.
    I had joined this gym earlier but left due to being lazy and unmotivated, I therefore decided to exercise under the guidance of a P.T. I was referred to Caleb Vardy-Olsson, one of the many professional P.T.'s at Genesis, tough but understanding of my medical situation, I started my training. Being a person who would usually give up after a certain period of time,it was Caleb who with the understanding of my health issues kept motivating and pushing me into coming regularly to the gym and working out, which I still do since I joined about seven months ago.
    I visit the Gym three times a week, and under Calebs professional guidance and training I have succeeded in losing a significant amount of weight, which is an achievement that I did not think I could reach in such a short time. My views on my health and diet have also changed for good and I am glad to have made the decision to join Genesis and train with Caleb".
